SCIL, as part of the wider Disability Movement, was instrumental in bringing about anti-discrimination legislation, in the form of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (DDA) and subsequent developments.  SCIL remains a key player in ensuring that the legislation is implemented effectively and results in real change for Disabled People.  Our services are: professional, affordable and local; for the public, private and voluntary sectors.  Every contract is custom designed for each commission.  We are passionate about ensuring Disability Equality across the south of England.
