Personalisation Expert Panel

The Personalisation Expert Panel was formed in 2009 to enable the views, opinions and recommendations of Disabled People and Carers to be at the centre of Hampshire County Council’s (HCC) aim to implement the recommendations of its Personalisation Commission and the transformation of Adult Social Care. 

The PEP consists of a wide diversity of Disabled People across all impairment groups, Carers and organisations run and controlled by Disabled People or Carers in Hampshire. The PEP is run and managed jointly by Southampton Centre for Independent Living & Hampshire Centre for Independent Living and its running costs are resourced by HCC. The PEP is activity supported with the input and attendance of HCC officers and enjoys the enthusiastic support of HCC’s Departmental Management Team. 

In addition to individual Disabled People and Carers, the following User-Led-Organisations are members of the PEP:

  • Hampshire Centre for Independent Living
  • Southampton Centre for Independent Living
  • Carers Together
  • All inclusive
  • Raise

The Personalisation ‘Expert’ Panel meets every month (normally 2nd Friday of each month)
